We can't believe it's our seventh birthday! We're so grateful to be here (especially after Covid) and we're so thankful for all of your support. We're a very small company and it means the world to us to be able to continue to do what we love: support women!
Katherina Borve is an inventor, CEO, small business owner and Mother originally from Norway. Long before Brassybra was born, she was trained as a chef, esthetician, and worked as a flight attendant.
Brassybra was born after Kat’s wedding. She couldn’t find a strapless bra that would work under her gown, so she tried duct tape. After a bad reaction, painful removal, and very quick wedding night, she knew she had to come up with something new to help other women go braless without the issues.
She experimented with adhesives in her kitchen, tried different shapes on her family and friends, and eventually settled on the current design we sell today. Kat originally pursued Brassybra as a hobby for friends, but as demand in her circles grew, she knew she had to take it to market.
After moving to Miami in 2018 to build the US branch of Brassybra, Kat and her family decided to move to the beautiful tropical island of Aruba, where they currently reside.
